The FAQ
Where are you based?
I live in Parkville, MO but will take clients 20-30 miles outside of this area as well! There will be a small travel fee for sessions 30 or more miles away.
What is your photography style?
I am a natural light photographer, which means I only use natural light of course! You will never see me use flash and that is why I do the majority of my shoots outdoors. Newborn sessions are an exception though, so it's important that there is plenty of natural light in your home. I strive to capture the more candid moments that show you interacting with one another, laughing, being playful, hugging, etc. I want your photos to be timeless and speak to you and yours for years to come!
I can't wait to see my photos! When will they be ready?
I typically have a two-week turnaround for most sessions. Newborn sessions take a bit longer, so you can expect those within three weeks. I always strive to deliver your photos as quickly as possible while ensuring the highest quality!
What type of sessions do you photograph?
I specialize in families, maternity, & newborn.
How will I get my photos?
You will receive an email letting you know your edited, high-resolution photos are ready via digital download. You can find the password and 4-digit download PIN in your email.
Do you retouch my photos?
Yes! I do retouch photos and remove blemishes when needed, but I strive to keep everything looking natural and true to you. I won’t alter features or make anything look unrealistic. Please note that I’m not responsible for wardrobe malfunctions and won’t be able to fix those in editing.
How long will my session last?
Most sessions are 45 minutes - 1 hour, with the exception of newborn sessions, which can last up to two.
How do we book you?
You can book a session through the contact page on my website. While I love connecting on Instagram and Facebook, messages there can sometimes get missed - so for the quickest response, reach out through my website!
